From your grammar and coherence level, it would seem you are the disaster. Move on already.

Geese and Express both at Columbus Day invitational. Email the team and "come get some" so we can witness this excellence like we have never seen. We will call ESPN as well so all can see this self proclaimed mastery. That way you don't have to tweet wall ball videos on Twitter...

Glad to see that you finally get it! But we play when we decide, not you. It's all good news as long as you are watching. Just try to keep up.

Not deciding anything. Just saying after all this chatter...But I get it. After all, your only downside is actually playing. It's better to let this go. That way the self proclaimed legend will continue to grow. Thanks for the entertainment.

Could someone translate this because it really makes no sense. It appears YOU should not be calling anyone an idiot. Just because you disagree with a statement, you should not go into "attack mode". Stop being a bully and see if you can speak in an intelligent way to support your opinion because perhaps more people would take you seriously.

That's great news. Express and 9! will beat them and we won't have to hear about True Blue for 10 months.

That will not shut them up, they live in an alternate universe created by the foul mouth, fat slobs that run the organization. They will tell you how close of a loss it was! But it was only 8-2, but it was only 10-1! We are on our way! LMAO

That might be true if you follow the totally asinine idea that A is comprised of like 3 - 5 team, but that doesn't make that whole concept any less dumb!

Not 3-5 at all just 3 and there is a lot of separation. Other than the Ducks and Igloo no Long Island team comes close. The next pack is led by one or more of the B teams. They parents may think they are on par until they see it for themselves and and have an oh crap moment. Seen it every tournament where somebody came over to size up one of those teams and were taken back. Then they found out the score was 10-0 and the kids were all playing with their off hands. Not about one kid or talent it is about team game and lax iq. These teams are far ahead as they have a strong core

At ANY AGE GROUP, the idea that any tier/classification/level/whatever you want to call it would be wholly comprised of single digit teams is outright dumb. The top 3 (or top 5 -
depends on age group) may be that good and there may be separation between they and the next closest teams, but that still doesn't mean then next best teams are not on a higher level than the teams below them. The foolish take on this is that somehow the teams that are in the 4 - 20 range being labeled A somehow diminishes the top teams - in reality, it magnifies their prestige. They are such that they are that much better than the rest of A; these top teams are AA or elite or whatever name you want to come up with. But, then there are regular A teams, B teams, and C teams - all three tiers on LI will have a fair amount of teams in each tier. This isn't Georgia where there truly might only be 1 or 2 or 3 A teams - it's Long Island, a top 2 locale for the sport. There is no other organized youth sport dumb enough to approach the idea of classification the way the people associated with LI's top teams go about it, and that isn't a good thing, and speaks volumes as to why it's so f'in dumb.

The coach was head coach of 91 Blast last year. He was a decent coach and good with the kids. He was not a dedicated coach for whatever the reason. Whether he is now at S2S time will tell. My kid likes him for what that's worth and learned from him but we didn't go running to S2S when he left. In summary, not a bad place if you've got nowhere else to go this year but not proven to be a great place either. Hope that helps.

Coach goes 100% daddy ball. During the week he tells you to get there 45 minutes early for the Tournament and shows up 10 minutes before game time so the dads have to start the warm ups. Cancels practice after you are on your way. Only has them going once a week even when the boys seem to need an extra day.

Other than that, he is a knowledgeable Lax coach and a good guy!

If you've got any significant number of boys on your teams playing fall sports, do you really think they are going to do more than 1 practice per week in the fall?? And considering the price point for S2S and other similar clubs, do you really think that is what you are paying for? I think many people have unrealistic expectations for fall lax.

Not talking about the fall, but the best go twice a week, even with football. Unfortunately his performance last year spring/summer was on average less than 1x per week including the weeks heading into Laxfe$t. Parents had to push him to schedule the extra day. The expectations at SOS might be less now, but he stranded the 91 kids last year. Maybe his priorities are straight and I am a nut, but the kids deserved better from him. The worst of it was that he showed that he could get a lot out of his 2018 team where he coached for several years. What is the movie line from DiNiro in the Bronx Tale? "There's nothing worse than wasted talent"

The best may go 2x per wk in the fall, but that's a sure way to bring about burnout and/or premature repetitive motion injuries with boys playing fall sports. I have no issues with kicking it up in the spring and into summer, but if they're in other sports, it's counterproductive in the off season.

It's very quiet, but at least we the mixed nuts chatter is quiet.

I think the top teams will remain. Express & Geese. They separated themselves from the pack over the summer. 9! and then Ducks & TB are the best of the rest.

How do you figure that the Geese are a better team than 9d1? Just looking for fact-based comments here.

Its a simple eye test. Last year both the Geese and Express were the better teams as the season came to a close. Obviously that can change, but that is the facts

You can't know for sure. There are different players on and off all 3 of these teams. Anything can happen. A year ago you said 91 was on top. Now you are saying Express and Geese.
What's good is nothing is a giveaway. Which makes the season challenging for the kids.

All I am.saying is at the end of the season is Express and Geese were the top teams. That's not to say 91 isn't good, they are.

Not so fast! Mixed nuts are ahead of all the teams you mention. They must be the first AAA team!!!!!!!!!

Eye test? The facts?

You need glasses!

One goal games back and forth, Bravehearts, there were 3 top teams last season and those 3 will battle it out this year as well.

9d1 didn't have skill. They just play dirty. That dies down as they get older and real skill is needed. Express will win this year but I wouldn't want my son on the team. Channy will have a huge bench and only play the top players and holdbacks he had reclassify and burn them out. He will purely use them to get the rankings of his business up.
Be happy if your son isn't playing on Express for him.

91 is telling us not to expect to play in tournaments this fall because they want to make sure they fix the boys’ fundamentals, which makes sense. But I’m pretty sure that my tuition includes 2 fall tournaments so I’m a little confused. Can anyone from AA clear that up for me?

So I guess you’re saying that Geese are the only good team now? Express is the team to beat, at least as of the end of last season. I would agree that Geese were very good. They are definitely a close second. Let’s see how Igloo, Ducks and Blast have improved this fall. Hopefully we can have 5 legit teams at this age group this season and they all don’t avoid each other.

Ducks and Igloo are nowhere close to competing with the top 3. You are just fooling yourself if you believe that. Ducks maybe the best B team, no where close to a real A team. And igloo is stick in the middle of A and B.
