How was the turn out for Legacy tryouts?

Outlaws B team was very good last year. They beat some "A" teams. Won a few t shirts. Despite what some people say on here. It's a decent organization. At the very least, no worse than any other place. All these teams have their issues. PB is easy to work with as a parent and he will always take your call. There is not an organization out there that isn't buyer beware, have coaching issues, have parent issues. They play in some pretty good tournaments. Yes their select team has been getting beat up the last few years, but they are trying to climb back up. There are not any teams on LI that can really compete with WP and Taz. Just an FYI. ote]

The best attackman and defenseman from the Outlaws that ain't saying much we all saw the Outlaws select last year they were BAD. Can't recall a good player at all. Wonder why the best players would get a demotion to play on a C club like TB.

It never ceases to amaze me of how distorted a view some on LI have of talent levels - if you were to go based upon the assessments on BOTC, if your son isn't playing for Taz, WP or thereabouts, he's a [lacrosse] lacrosse player, and not worthy of stepping on the field to play the game. It's an absolute rediculous mindset and not based on reality!

TB made every A tournament championship. Yet they still won't be recognized as an A team. These other parents need to accept the fact there are not just two A teams.

[/quote] what you need to understand is that those 2 teams are Elite. Yes there are plenty of A teams on long island, and plenty of great players, but those 2 teams play at a much higher level. its just a fact,. They are ABOVE A..... people are to focused on the labels... its all about the training. Those 2 clubs provide it and draw the talent there.. Plain and simple.

Obviously you do not know what a real A tournament looks like, regarding talent level.

Losing to Express in a B tournament by 10+ goals, doesn't equate on any level being an "A" club.
FWIW, Express was WAY below being "elite" this past summer.

And please don't start w. Coach cat sitting the best players.

Not leaving for now but don't hold your breath about keeping him for long. He's a smart guy. That Taz team is ready to implode. So much banter between offense/defense parents. Each in their own groups and talking how the other is not doing their job. They all hate the wizard behind the curtain who pulls all the strings. The wizard believes everyone loves him. Yeah, right people are scared to lose spot because of him. They may be only filling 1/2 spots and replacing a few by the blindside effect. Ask how those cut players felt last year. A lot of empty promises made to rope people in. Let's see who makes the team and didn't go to tryouts.

express beat them 6-3 the first time. They did not crush anyone that tournament. Then the championship they magically beat a team 10 goals? Go ask your kids if any starters played. Not one.

Legacy didn't even have evaluator's and the clinic style tryout sucked.
