Fredericksburg may as well be in Alaska, please be specific as talent level in a rural area is clearly not northern va.

congrats to API on beating express. Speaks volumes of talent in HOCO as they did not make HOCO playoff in a stacked 2022 league. They have been solid and well coached for years. Beating Eclipse and LIE on day 1 is impressive.

Can't wait to see Igloo get destroy in MD at Millon's 2022 National Championship. Results will be very different without the 7 ninth graders. And yes, Igloo parents will be the first complain about it not being fair because of holdbacks.

Take a peek at the website and checkout the points leaders etc..you may be disappointed to see that the 2022 boys are still doing the majority of the heavy lifting for this team.Sorry..i know that doesn't fit into what you are insinuating.

Igloo could bring the world series team to Maryland
And they still would be young then any of the your
holdback teams.

Well 2 teams gave up 50+ goals in three games what is that about and guess who's divisions there in. Also if you gave up over 20 goals in just 3 games your wasting our time and should not be in this WSYL tourney. This will never be about the best 13 YO's. Much to much manipulation and truly the ultimate money grab.

Not insinuating anything. Just stating that Igloo using 7 kids from their 2021 team. Seven kids who played last year.

If they fit the age parameters, then yes they should. What reason would you give to say they can't play?

Gee, I don't know.... are they AGE appropriate? Of course they should if they meet the AGE guidelines!

I'm a parent on this Igloo World Series team and there is not 6 or 7 players from Black Ice on this team. That is just a lie. There are two players from the Black Ice team who are over a year younger then their piers in their grade. The age would mean they are 2022's in any state besides New [lacrosse]. These two players also did not play a lot in last years World Series because the cut off was 5/1 which means they were a full 16 months younger at the time they played. Last year Igloo decided to bring their normal team because the rules first started 5/1 cutoff and 2021 grade, and then they changed the rules 2.5 months before the championship tournament to straight 5/1 allowing players much older to participate. So Igloo already promised those kids they could go. So to sum up, All players playing except for 2 are new players to the World Series, the 2 players in question are younger then a lot of the boys attending this year's event, so because this is a age based event this is completely fair for everyone. All Teams knew the rules, all teams had the ability to participate; don't an organization for following the rules and participating. That just doesn't make sense.

Sorry..but you wasted your time writing this.People on here don't want the truth. They would rather exaggerate, twist, turn it to suit their agenda. Some people just like to write this stuff to get a rise out of people . Some like to try and justify why their team won't win.The last group of people are just plain stupid.Good luck to your son and his team

No need to explain. What the club does is their business. From my view, they run a great program. And I am not an Igloo parent.

It will LI vs LI in the first quarterfinal game, likely.... Express vs 9! - shame one to get knocked out early. The Express loss to API will make them a #2 seed and 9! will be a 1 seed.

Yes you are correct 2 players with 12/03 birthdates. There are another 5 with 03 birthdates prior to 12/1 but are within the rules. don't lie to make yourself feel better. its no big deal just about every team has players with 03 birth dates.

Igloo beat PT 2022 in OT, PT coach cost them the game! Not knowing the rules, PT wins FO, coach calls a timeout, refs hand the ball over to Igloo! Great game, tough loss for PT. Thanks PT Coach!

Those parents make that choice for their kids to just be on the team. Since the roster size was locked at 25, yes... some had to be left off. To each his own. Practice and training are needed and good things. However, nothing like game experience (in a meaningful game).
