My son went to Blue Chip 225 in RI. Excellent camp, very well run with great competition. Elite and Varsity division, do your best to get your coach to recommend Elite Division.
If your son makes Elite Division allstar game he will be seen by D1 coaches. If not, he will still get looks. My son did not make it, but was contacted about his play by five different colleges. One a top 5 DIII school. He was on a team that went to the Championship, so it was tough to standout as an Allstar on that team.
My son recieved a return invite for this summer's Elite Division due to his play. He wants to return, with the goal of making the allstar team.
I recommend your son do this camp. It is one of the most respected, longest running, recruiting venues. Most college coaches my son has met with held the camp in high regard.
