What team? Is it a hard concept to use the "Quote" button to reply to another post so everyone knows what the [lacrosse] you're posting about??!

I suspect True Blue. Let's see how they do over the weekend.

Exactly. Good competition. Express is quick to forget losing to Geese 10x in a row throughout fall and winter, losing to Blast in fall and in indoor in winter, getting beat handidly by Mixed Nuts and getting blown out by that Dukes team. No perch for any team. They are all compettive, including the Ducks and makes for good lax. Getting outcoached? Are the kids playing in the Super Bowl

Stop living in the past Blastard. You sound bitter.

You need to get some new one liners troll. Change it up and keep us guessing.

Why should he? It's not necessary, especially when Blast parents keep bringing up teams they beat two years ago and teams the Express lost to in their first year. Are you the same guy that said we can't talk about the multiple town teams that Blast lost to over the years because it's a "new and improved" team? Probably. Either way, your team is dropping like a stone. Prepare to abandon ship!

Yes!! Blast should abandon ship! Great team, amazing kids and strong friendships-Run for the hills!!!!! That suggestion is what is wrong with travel lacrosse today. If the Blastards are smart, they will stick together and make the minor changes needed to perform better. Oh, and maybe fly in some help.

Ill put 3 best Blast middies against Express middies all day. Not even close. Channy runs a few of those kids into the ground. Not even on same level as blast middies

Dominated Forsberg? Yes, True Blue won their bracket, but you can't say dominated when you tied Outlaws and only won games by 2 goals or so.
Dads may want to keep the voices down until after this weekend. Setting yourselves up for disappointment.

Goalie dad is a jerk. No one disputes that. But the kid is one of the top 3 players on the team. The other two are the faceoff kid and WI middie (another terrible parent). If you think that the goalie isn't good enough, you need to start looking at the quality of other goalies on the grade level. She's one of the top, if not the top goalie. No doubt about it.

Realistically, Blast is still a very good team; however, there are a few players who are carrying them to a degree. It seems to me that they just lack depth. Aside from the aforementioned mids, the rest are role players. Not bad players at all, but not playmakers. They need more aggressive players at the position so they can rotate more efficiently without taking as much of a step down offensively and defensively.

Their attack is good, but devoid of any standout. And at 4th grade, that's fine! They could use a power dodger or shooter on one side to make defenses nervous. Defense lacks speed, in general, though overall, pretty solid.

The Blast parents have unrealistic expectations. They think they should win every game. Those days are gone, as they should be. A few tweaks and they have potential to remain very good. Even now, they could probably win 90% of their games, but that's just not good enough for the parents.

I am a BLAST parent and she is definitely not showing her top level goalie skills, actually she has gotten worse! Much better goalie's out there, time to move on to girls lacrosse! Nobody want's to share the cage with her.

The thing with Express is that they don't have to go their best 3 against your best 3. Express is now 6 middies deep and all of them are very good. Blast has the quick WI kid and the big faceoff kid. Then the drop-off is like Niagra Falls. That's why Express is winning. Your savior JS came back and you were actually worse than you were at Blatant.

Just an educated guess, but I think the best team will be one of the MA teams. Their kids are older because they use an earlier calendar year for school. Kid to kid it doesn't mean much but averaging out over a whole team there is an advantage. Big deal at this age. Basically the NY teams should be nearly all 2007s while these MA teams will be about 50/50 2007/2006. And this assumes no holdbacks and other bs.

Why all the talk about Blast faceoff? You watch any Blast games?
Channy pretty good but lost to the golden chickens 10 times in a row. I guess those two extra middies would have resulted in never losing a game.

Wait and see. With six teams in a bracket, there is no need for a semi-final. 1 and 2 should just play a championship game and be done with it.

Dominated Forsberg? Yes, True Blue won their bracket, but you can't say dominated when you tied Outlaws and only won games by 2 goals or so.
Dads may want to keep the voices down until after this weekend. Setting yourselves up for disappointment.

Credit to true blue for trying, but is clear now that they don't belong in an A bracket. They are a good B team, but by no means "dominant"....and that is not a dig at all.

While the normal blast and exspress hoopla continued on Long Island the Geese went to Lehigh and played in the fifth grade division and had a huge day! Played against some pretty big physical and strong kids and won everything till the end against new jersey 5/6 graders only loosing 7-5!
