But you have to be undefeated like SJC will be & if not SJC will play Brunswick (post grad) and or whoever the 2nd best team is after St Marys poops the bed. IMG 20-9 tonight and that was nice. You do care about the WCAC because this conference has the best team in the country this year & it is nothing like Cincinnati or Baylor because SJC has the toughest out of conference schedule in the country & they beat CHC & BL which is the AL & GA in your week butt football analogy. Please don’t reply because their already laughing at you not with you.
SJC wouldn't last two weeks with an MIAA schedule. The WCAC has turned into a sorry conference outside of the holdback/reclass school in St. Johns, Is big tasty cake coming back to play his 10th year in high school with daddy by his side? When will the cadet parents learn that the MIAA is the cream of the crop and they will never be apart of it. Have fun winning your Mickey Mouse national championship trophy when you beat some Connecticut school in mid-June.

Lost to Spalding. They don’t hold the tiebreaker over many.

Spalding in a romp. CH wonders what happened.
Boys Latin shows AA County how the big boys play and wins in a romp.
Gilman finally looks like Gilman in a romp
St Pauls and Predators in a romp
Severn wins with LB showing once again that playing time is about the name, not skill.

Nope, the knock on McD is that the coaches cant get the talent out of them. They do so little with the talent that is there, or do what is going on this season. Heard some rumblings from alumni who arent happy.

“Historical powerhouse” = sun is setting on your program these days.
See: Gilman, LB and StP.
Only CH and BL are carrying the torch. And there have been some signs of trouble at those places too.

Ok, geezer: you must be from SP, whose last winning streaks happened when they played with wooden sticks. McD has been good since Jake Reed built the program up and that's almost 30 years ago. They've made the playoffs for over 10 consecutive seasons (not counting Covid no play years) but are now in danger of not making the playoffs with a relatively talented albeit not deep team. When you have a standard of excellence and you underperform (see Syracuse and Hopkins in lacrosse and Texas and FSU in football) the natives get restless. That's the A Conference and the oldtimers/insiders wouldn't want it any other way.

Does look like some turbulent waters ahead for most. BL is hoping dorms get them back on track to sustain their program. CH has gone after any player that will help from out of state. Gilly is done no future there, LB has been done for awhile with their coaching crisis . StP has the Predators attempting to put some life back in them.
Md will still produce some players that do well at D1, but lets face it, The glory days are over when they had MIAA/MSA players starting all over many top D1 college teams.

In the past 25 years 7 schools have won a championship- in fact each of those seven have one more than 1. The only schools that havent won at least 1 have been Severn, Spaulding, St Joes, and John Carrol (JC won several B during that span). Just because a school hasn't won in a few years (or ten) doesnt make them irrelevant - winning the league is a challenge. There are no cup cakes in the league. Obviously Calvert Hall is the current standard that everyone wants to beat. Every league needs a target.

You mean the same Mickey Mouse, National Champion trophy that Calvert Hall proudly puts on all of its official Social Media and website as “2019 National Champions”. As well as the plaque on the BL lower stadium “2014 National Champions”. Yes it sounds like that’s a pretty important Mickey Mouse trophy as you call it to be proud of. Cheers to SJC if they win out and can be held in that rarified air!

Looks like someone did their homework. And made some good points. SJ is a freak team - no one can compete with them this year. Maybe a flash in the pan, maybe not.

Disappointed that none of the AA county teams will win the Championship this year. Looked promising but they are all pretenders. Really wanted the parade.

CH runs this town

If you don’t have forms, or someplace to house out of towners, you have no chance of competing in the MIAA.
It’s disappointing to see a school like Gilman can no longer compete. This is what happens when your Head Master and Board of Trustees are any competitive sports.

StP see above. Exact same problem but they’ve begun to change things by bringing in new leadership that values what successful teams can do for school moral etc.

Severn holds to tiebreaker over SP and SP isn’t beating BL to get to 6 wins.

Not SP, unless they beat BL in final game. If SP goes 1-1 in next two and Severn loses out, Severn holds the head to head tie breaker.

A lot of scenarios can unfold from CH being a 2 seed to not making the playoffs; Loyola still mathematically is in it.

Final 6 will be BL, STM, CH, MCD, Spalding and Severn

Our better defenders are sitting on the bench. The two chosen ones never get benched. Even after BL and CH top player torched us. 23 season will be our year.
