Buck stops with the coach. But my guess is it may have just been a team chemistry thing and they will improve in ‘22.
Or maybe the team didn’t have as much talent as you thought… A few of those players were more talked up then good…

Loyola has a ton of D1 commits and they lost to St. Pauls who has almost no decent commits.

Loyola is a trainwreck at the present moment. Some of the players starting were straight good guy politics. Couple should have been benched, but hard to bench name brand players when you are not a top coach. Yea, many were D1 commit's, but frankly they were bench warming D1 commit's, which the MIAA constantly produces . Their stick skills are great, which will help the true athletics get better at D1from other areas.

Buddy, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. This has to be a SG fan, as soon as another school gets mentioned can't wait to pile on. Go back to New Cut Rd and cut the grass, it's getting high and LD doesn't like it, the hawks 22's can't practice. They just lost oer the weekend and that doesn't sit well with LD.

L 2-14 McDonough (MD)
L 3-9 Black Grizzlies (MI)

L 7-8 Gonzaga (DC)
W 14-4 Lovett (GA)
W 7-3 Black Grizzlies (MI)
W 8-4 SSSA (VA)
L 8-7 Haverford

Varsity was missing several key players and even without some key players did not do that badly. Their 2025 team is all freshman who haven't started at the school yet, they were invited to play. The 2024's are rising sophs and their squad was small, missing several players from last springs freshman team. Other schools have mix of 2024 and 2025's on both teams, the guidelines are not closely followed or checked by the admins running the event. Nope, I am not a Loyola parent/fan or supporter but a good friend is and he knows what was going on. School I follow is CH.

Which HS league has more players playing at the highest levels? BTW 4 LBs

Can you at least attempt to be honest. All those names are from a couple years ago to many years ago. Current times with many areas bypassing the MIAA . Like I said, The MIAA provides plenty of paying full price substitutes getting players better at D1,

Gonzaga had two of it's best 2024 out for the showcase, 2 middies. Not sure if that would of helped against cadets. SJ is strong.

How was I not being honest be giving you facts? Those are guys playing at the highest level today in 2021. Also see the u20 US National team. 7 MIAA grads. Yes some MIAA players go and ride pine, quit or transfer - same as any other area. Big rosters, quality coaching everywhere, growth of the game means that rosters aren't 40% MD 40% Ny 10% other like in 80s but traditional hotbeds still producing lots of D1 starters and bench warmers alike

Never said there wasnt some star players from MIAA, majority arent that go to D1 in todays lacrosse world. Majority ride the bench, much more than in pass.

Previous poster quoted three UMD players. Two barely saw the field and one that was a starter was a prefirst, redshirt, 24/25 year old senior.

Watched 22 Naptown Championship. Is the Hawks lefty attack-man really a D1 commit? Someone needs to re-evaluate.

He looked real good this year for Spalding and will be fine at Navy. Can’t fake his consistently good performance this year in the MIAA.

Crab feast did not have a better line up than Naptown at 2023. Brotherly Love won the championship at Crab feast for 2023. Not even a top 20 team at that year and Naptown had the best in country at 23. DC Dogs, Hawks LB3, Prime Time, Mad Dog (CA), True National and Pro Start are the top at that year. Naptown is becoming the elite tournament in the country for sure.

Hardly. Naptown last year was a joke, this year better, but still less than Crabfeast by a lot. Sorry LD and Co.

Nothing wrong with that, That and holdbacks are the face of Club lacrosse. Lacrosse played as the creator wanted it...

Can someone please explain to me the whole UnderArmour tryout? My 2023 is registered but what should I expect? Is it only Thursday the 8th? What if he makes it? What would be the next schedule? What if he makes the Spotlight division? What schedule should I expect? Thanks

You should know that unless he is known by the current UA coaching staff he will not make the team!! There is nothing more political than the UA and Nike selection process.

It may be next, But that is how UA is now. There are actually about 3-4 spots that are available for team at absolutely the most. That does not mean they are not talented players, just that Coaches and coaches buddies/friends have the inside track, So funny that people actually think it is a real tryout. I know, my one of my sons was on UA team . There were better players ( not by much ) at tryouts, but it counts who you know more.

As far as schedule. They vary year to year. Look up last year on tourney machine to get an idea.
