this is a singular tournament that has nothing ti di with 2021. Different ages. Winning this doesnt make you the 2021 champ. Next week igloo, blaze, and the 2021 team from the third program will be at nxt. They will be the 2021 teams, not these hybrid teams.

I am sitting in my backyard with my little Johnnie who didn't go to Colorado because well I just have the money and he doesn't play for any of those teams. I will have ESPN2 on in the background at 6 pm hoping Zummo wins.

If these kids really represent the best players in youth lacrosse, we should be seeing them win championships in the next couple tournaments they attend next week. Hmmmm?? Money says they don't even make to the finals playing on grade. But for today, glad to see Crush exposed when their top players not there, just an average team, at best. Hope Igloo find a way to surprise everyone, but will certainly be tough playing mostly 8th graders. Don't think this is how this tournament was intended to play out!

Only thing that is tainted is you parents who still hold onto the grade vs age bracket .. they set the age limit and everyone who played in this tournament has the proof they belonged within guidelines . Get over it already. We all know JS kicks himself for being involved in this mess. And more so salt in the wound by a couple of his Ex players shoving it down his throat.

quote=Anonymous]Everyone knows it's 90% Taz on that team! Congrats to the boys and coaches but doesn't say much when only tournament a 2020 team wins is against mostly 2021 players. Yes it's a U tournament but its a little tainted [/quote]

No issue with Igloo. Always been on age and dominate. But the rest of you delusional people who pretend to think your not gaming the system (like a small amount of MD teams who you crucify on here daily) and hide behind the fictitious cutoff date with CURRENT 8th graders (like a small amount of MD teams you crucify on here daily) in a 7th grade tournament make fools of yourselves.

Your are know better than the "we're just following the rules as stated" MD parents. LOL

It's 8th graders vs. 7th graders. The A middle school line vs. the B. Everyone knows it! All you 8th graders are good 8th grade players, not great. But you will look great today playing 7th graders. Cherish the moment or start making plans to repeat 8th grade! It's back to reality next week!

Igloo gets screwed in this process. No one expected Blaze to win it, but igloo was a team dominated by 2020 kids wonder if this will be only tournament Legacy wins this summer lolol

Please somebody show me where it says 2021 tournament, 7th grade tournament or anything about only 13 year olds? Did the rules change from last year? I think they did but when you read the rules it says the cut off date is 5/1/2002. That could make the oldest kid 14 years old by about 2 months give or take. No my kid is not in Colorado and does not play down and yes he could work harder but I am not worried about that.

It doesn't say 2021 but come on. An average to below average 2020 team knew what they were doing here. Let's go igloo

Gotta love sour grapes.. all you parents who spent big money on this tournament , and the best you can do now because its not your sons team in the spotlight is claim a team cheating. You all need your heads examined and stop drinking corperate lacrosse kool-aide. 88+3 housewives. Classic... Lmfao

This is a disgrace!!!
This is like a varsity playing a JV. And The JV team is showing they belong.
These kids in white if they were good would play up. Turned 14 in May. Kudos to those crushers who played up at Under Armour. That's how you show you belong. Not this way of playing down.

Zummo this is a new low. You could never put together a rising Fresman team now you just played your rising freshman down a year.

Outliers... Do what you can to cheat the system. Then when every else games the system you are no longer an outlier. Because gaming the system becomes the system.

Igloo 2021 was the top team for years. It's a shame that other team in finals has 2002 birth dates. Par for the course in this sport.

They still are a top 2021 team. Don't confuse things. Legacy coaches kids aren't even playing and they are original legacy 2021 players hop they see time. In 4th qtr.

This is how parents get into fights about youth sports

Only 2 "Crushers" played up at Under Armour, and they happen to be the 2 top players and attackman in the country at the age, and are both comitted to major D1 schools I wouldn't remotely compare them to anything you see in this game . It's a fun game to watch but the skill and athleticism of those 2 "crushers" is at a completely different level. Crush would be a different team without them

Quint why not say legacy is a year older. This is nothing compared to those Crush kids last year. Barely a mention of last years team.

No, you are wrong. This game should have the next ones. Not down. Those defenders are kids who play consistently against the Crush kids because THEY are the same age. Zummos defense is a month younger than the "crusher".

Terrible lacrosse 6 of the 8 goals from 9th grade 2020 middies. another goal from a 9th grade 14 yr old D pole in the 4th qtr. And finally a Very late EMO goal by an attackman. The first line middy did not come off the field. players # 2,5,3 . Last years crush team would have dismantled Legacy with how they move he ball

Again people get caught up in the age thing , I'm certain all of those kids were age appropriate for the tournament. I do get it that just because you can do something it doesn't mean you should . Know one forced anyone to bring their kid's to Denver and play.freedom of choice.

Played by the rules. Everyone else who took the "high road" regrets it now. This was a transition year. Next year there will be tryouts for the wsyl team.

Same age maybe, no where near the same skill, not a great game by any means.

A complete disgrace. How could those parents be happy with that win. Same kids never came off the field and the 2nd goalie only played for 5 min. Hope it was a nice vacation for all.

yes! an 8th grade beat down of 7th graders. Attack so weak when compared to age -on. Shameful! 7th Grade Goalie so much better! Fogo looks great playing against young kids, on age he's average! Enjoy for now, but don'y forget about that Karma! Congrats to the champions of the the world, cough, cough

Sounds like the same complaint as last year with Crush. People seriously 1st line is the better if three lines , play to win you use the 1st line , it's not pay to play! If you want that maybe look into getting an extended PAL membership.

You people kill me, the tournament is set up that anyone born after 5/1/200/ is eligible. They could be in college, but if they are the right age then they can play. Seriously, give it a rest. The team that was better today won
