everyone also can see and knows whom you whacko parents are , the sideline tells all..your friends tell ALL..

Watched hit on Twitter.

Looks like a cheap hit to me. Not even an effort to actually break down and play lacrosse. Kid knew he was bigger and probably older so he took a cheap shot.

The kid was penalized for the hit. Was it necessary for MM to then post it on his twitter stating that this is what is wrong with youth lacrosse? Did he have the kid's families permission to post a video of their son his twitter? If he was so concerned about his son that was hit and possible concussion issues, why did he put him back in the game? You know the answer to that question.

Agree that it was a cheap hit but so was the hit his defenseman put on the Hawks kid. BS that he will put the video of his kid being hit and write an article about safety in lacrosse but does or says nothing to his own player when he does it. And surely he will not bring light to the hit as another example of what needs to be cleaned up. He should not throw stones from his glass house.

Don't be ridiculous. The kid is not identifiable so no permission is needed. Minute the kids step on that field, they are open to being photographed and videoed. If he had made a great play instead of being a thug, the parents certainly would be okay with it. Sounds like you are on a personal crusade against MM so anything you say is suspect. The kid purposely took steps to hit and had done so in several games. Clearly the coaches, parents and refs do not do anything about kids like this so why not publish it? Maybe that will begin to get through to the refs, coaches and the daddy of this boy and others like him who do not play with any kind of skill and only try to crush other kids with size. As for sending him back in, if he cleared the concussion review, no need to keep him out. Your anger is ill placed.

You have no idea what was said or not said to his own player with the Hawks hit. You are only pissed because his Twitter account actually gets viewed and all the other dads accounts have 12 followers. If it can change the way these kids are being taught/allowed to play the game, then publish away. Again, you have no idea what is or is not being brought up so stop taking your envy out on an anonymous board, you have a problem, pick up the phone and call the man or better yet, contact him through the Twitter account you seem so familiar with. Other parents of non 91 kids are okay with someone pushing for rule changes in youth lacrosse - these are little kids- not high schoolers. Those who can actually play the game and do not rely on hitting are glad someone is stepping forward.

Anyone - let alone a coach - who posts a hit of another kid hitting his one son is pathetic.

It was a late, unnecessary IBC or whatever they flagged. Move on. It's nowhere near an ugly, vicious hit.

If a coach wants to make a point about something he needs to be aware of how it looks if he uses his son at the example. There are some good things about a dad coaching his son. But it goes wrong way more then it goes well. And perception is reality in this world. So a Dad coaching should be avoided at all costs.

With all this talk about players unchecked, was curious with what tactic most would use in the situation of an unchecked aggressive player making cheap shots at your team over and over. If officials arent calling anything but a 1 minute releasable penalty if that and opposing coaches calling it a legal hit what are you to do??

Many years ago the solution would be retaliation with your biggest guy. Or have fastest shooter pluck him with a shot. Something along those lines. Basically show the brute that there are consequences. Now a days that is not a option it seems.

After a while most players and coaches get tired of watching your teammates getting flattened or possibly hurt without repercussions.

Unless you are the coach or parent of this kid that was hit, you need to butt out. It's not your responsibility to go on a personal crusade on behalf of this player. Or to use him to further demonize this coach.

And just as many would disagree with you - dad coaches are much more vested. We have had both and prefer the dad coach who cares about the team and is not just there to get their kid on another team for free. How does it look showing your own son getting pummeled by a player out of control- personally I can respect that and the call for tougher rules/consequences to coaches and kids who consistently play the game the right way.

Well it really can be looked at many ways. But if it was not his son or if he was not a dad coaching his sons team. Then his view point would not look like it had more then one meaning. This is why Dads at these higher levels should not be coaching there sons team. [lacrosse] if dad wants to coach coach the team above or below your sons team.

On that day the MPLL was playing NCAA rules. I've watched the video several times in slow mo. The offensive player get's inside of his defender and then opens his right shoulder to take the shot. The midfielder drops down to slide and initiates contact with his left shoulder to the offensive player's right shoulder. The force of the hit turns the kid clockwise and he hits the ground. Clearly not in the back. Close to high. That and the fact it was a bigger kid vs smaller draws the flag as all youth refs are told to err on the side of caution. However under the NCAA rules there should not have even been a foul. The ref off screen threw the flag. The ref in the video who had a perfect view hesitates before reaching into his pocket before realizing the other ref bailed him out. He saw what I see - which is a legal hit under the rules but one we don't want in youth games. MPLL changed rules to make the hit illegal under 3 step rule. Still posting on social media and calling out the kid and coaches is a doucher move. Did MM know what rules he was playing under before the season?

Scary you have watched a 2022 video several times. Interesting you are questioning he refs and slinging mud at MM. You must be a joy to be around in the stands. Think,we will stick with the refs call as well as the coach opinion that knows a bit about lacrosse.

Better watch out for Hawks Madlax scored 13 on Crabs and then only scored 3 on Hawks. Their defense is outstanding. Good luck scoring double digits on them

No one needs to sling mud at Millon. He does fine embarrassing himself. I can't believe that no one from Rough Riders has exposed him for what he said to one of their other players on the field that day. Everyone heard it according to those in attendance, but since I was not, I will not repeat it. Suffice it to say that it was inappropriate and alarming and the source is credible.

Sounds like you have a personal vendetta and are trying to stir up trouble. As you say, you were not there-were you out checking on another field/division? RR are big boys...they can handle it themselves without your involvement. Think MM is doing okay and certainly knows more about the game than someone who has not played and is stirring the pot.

The trouble with MM is that he is in love with himself. Needs to act like a normal coach and get off his self given high horse. He may know the game, but so do many many other coaches and they are not calling out other teams, yet I am sure they have cause but elect to act like an adult and not expose young kids. Everyone wants the game to be safer, but this is not the way to reach that goal.

You're right. Roughriders did handle it. Because of how MM acted(including what he said to the RR player on the field) they have pulled out of his tournament and HOCO had to change their schedule because they refuse to be on the field with him.

Considering Brian Reese is the HC of the 2022 RR team, this should tell you all you need to know about how people feel about MM. When the coach of the Bayhawks is refusing to play you, it should be a bit of a red flag.

Same guy trying to make trouble and if you had any clue, you would know that is not what really happened but the story suits your objective so keep spinning. For once, it would be nice if what is supposed to be an independent party did not try to cause trouble just because they do not like someone questioning their weak rules or the fact that they do not follow their own rules. You are pretty vindictive and therefore this must be personal for you as we know none of the kids involved were yours and pretty certain you do not even have a 2022 or a boy in any club. Very transparent the source of the "I heard" and the " Hoco" changed their schedule. Just because BR is the head coach of the bayhawks does not make him the end all -are we going to start throwing out resumes of all these guys? Let's see an official letter or statement from Reese on the matter instead of you just guessing about things....thought so. .

Scary you have watched a 2022 video several times. Interesting you are questioning he refs and slinging mud at MM. You must be a joy to be around in the stands. Think,we will stick with the refs call as well as the coach opinion that knows a bit about lacrosse.

And what tournament would be "his" tournament as you are seriously misinformed.

After some great games this spring it will be fun to see how the teams fare on the summer circuit. Surely such stiff competition game in and game out will have all clubs ready for new competition.

The majority of the club directors have self love issues and he is no different but if you have been around for any time at all, you know nothing changes so congrats to him for taking a stand and calling people out. Change takes effort and being uncomfortable. . The refs are apathetic to the behaviors, most coaches do not correct the behavior while some openly encourage it and Hoco ignores rules andgets defensive when questioned and none of those running the league ever played lacrosse!

Wow! If true that does say and tell you a lot. Pretty bad when you refuse to play his team again!

Let's see an official letter or statement from Reese on the matter instead of you just guessing about things....thought so. .

I could copy and paste the email BR sent out to the club regarding this matter, but I'm sure he would not approve of doing that. You are obviously the one with no idea as to what has happened within RR. You are wrong that I don't have a 2022 kid and wrong that I am not involved in this situation. Whatever helps you gloss over the truth I guess.

So rumors spread that RR were disinvited from tourney and MM refused to play them in Hoco which sounded like major overreaction to some. So RR dad, it was the other way around and BR pulled out? If true, good to know. RR has a good team and shame to see their rep suffer. Hope all coaches on all teams will teach these young boys from mistakes made so the game stays tough but played safer at rhis younger level.

Of course You can not cut and paste it ....it does not exist. Plenty of RR families (and a few coaches) that would be happy to share but in checking your facts, there was no such email sent to the club.. Sensing a pattern..."I was not there, so can not repeat." " Would cut and paste but BR would not like it."

Agree. What tourney are they saying they pulled out of? It was RR who began the "crusade" against him and began to behave like toddlers. Alot of annoyed club owners simply because there is another option in town. Search MM on the internet...20 years of successful camps, clubs, training, partnerships etc. One of the few lacrosse players who were able to successfully create a business out of their passion and last more than a year or two. People keep going back to his clubs and camps as they are quality products. Project 9 anyone? Nobody has trained more young lacrosse players. So he is not a teddy bear of a personality but he clearly knows the sport and is working toward making it safer for kids when nobody else has ever tried and in doing so has become a bit of a target. Many families stand behind him for what he is trying to do and perhaps if people actually stopped and tried to work together for that objective instead of vilifying the messenger, the sport would be much more enjoyable for all kids. But instead Hoco and the refs dig their heels in because they do not like someone questioning the safety of the sport for young players.

They pulled out of his Elite 10 (now Elite 8) tournament the weekend after Memorial Day.

Hawks game. Hit by 91 every bit as dangerous as the one he posted on Twitter. Where is the blog? Where was the discipline? Is this youth lacrosse? Hypocrite.

You are absolutely clueless. Obviously you have no connection to RR or you would have received the email that BR sent out explaining why we were no longer playing in MM's tournament. Initially RR was going to the Corrigan tournament in Richmond instead, but decided to limit the travel and play in Lax Splash. You are making yourself look stupid to anyone that actually knows what happened. You keep defending MM all you want. Maybe you can help out his home life too!
