Relax jerky. I played college ball. Just came from a game that the referee couldn't pass a 3rd grade phys ed workout and he was making up rules. Hopefully the development of the game and the financial means will facilate better quality of officiating.

Parity. Any 8 of the top HoCo team could have won on any given day. 2022 level is filled with talent. 5 of the MPLL teams are in that group. The summer will be fun.

13-9 final score. Madlax dad thrown off field. When they were up by 4..

I am sure the dad was in the wrong but do we know why he was mad and what he was yelling about when he got thrown out?

In defense of the Madlax dad, he was justifiably upset about a ref at midfield making an endline out of bounds call when the other ref was 10 yards away from where the ball went out.

Every team has a loud mouth Dad. I would even say every team has a least one loud mouth dad and one loud mouth Mom. But we can bash Madlax for a week or two just make sure you point out the other bad mom and dads from the other clubs.

He was probably just upset because it was a bit humid Friday night and his sweet perm was getting unruly.

There is no "justification" for a parent yelling at an official. All you are doing is embarrassing yourself, your kid, and your club. The club will remember that at the next tryout.

Depends on players ability.. If so so player,Reason to Remember to get rid of player at tryouts..If decent ok player, reason to remember to look long and hard at....If Good player, Vague memory of some parent yelling??? ...Great player or 6 ft Holdback, No relocation of anything except players ability!!

Someone not happy about a man that is trying to make things safer in youth lacrosse? At least he is willing to do something about it and come out publicly to say it is not okay the way the little guys are being taught the game or allowed to play. Not a ninety one 2022 parent but awfully glad someone has guts enough to try to protect kids and teach them when they are young. His team losing is a different topic than his efforts to make lacrosse safer - stop stirring the pot. Try to stay on one topic or another.

So 91 dad, will the safe keeper of youth lacrosse post a video of his defenseman taking a cheap shot at the Hawks attack man as an example of what should be coached out of lacrosse? The kid took about an 8 yard run and lowered his shoulder and head to hit the much smaller Hawks player in the head. The kid was penalized so you can't say it didn't happen. Did MM coach up his player on the sidelines? Did he read him the riot act? Nope. Just sent the kid back out when his penalty was up. Or maybe it should only be addressed when his kid gets hit.? Please, do tell 91 dad.

Not affiliated with Team 91 so can't speak to the incident above but will say that player from RR that hit his kid is a menace. He is consistently dangerous. Saw a video of him from this weekend slashing another player 4 times consecutively, finally flag thrown when he cut down the other kid with a blatant slash to back of the legs. Should've been ejected by new rules at St Pauls but just a penalty.

If you're going to anonymously malign a twelve year old, at least be honest. You say blatant slashes, flag thrown, cut down... All false. No flag thrown. Flag was already down on another player and a play on situation stopped play when the ball went down. Checks were to the gloved hand on the stick. Hard checks? Yes. Slashes? Not in the opinion of either official on the field.

In the RR - Cannons game on Sunday, the RR goalie almost had his head taken off. Coaches tended to the kid, he got up, player served his 3 minutes, and the game went on without menacing glances, coaches parading around and making a spectacle and threats to walk off the field.

Is this where we are in 2016; isolating video and posting on social media so DB parents can gather online to talk trash about a 12 year old kid? Get a life.

Now we know why so many kids reclass.....they can't play with the bigger boys.

Leave the kid alone...move your kids to 2023 if they can't handle it. And please take the little kid on one of the teams who screams "ouch" everytime he is touched. Embarrassing.

^^^^^^yes it is..and your right here doing it too. Isolated video? you obviously haven't seen much from this year. I would love to get a count of penalty time from that one player this year. 8 mins just from playing our games.

All the penalties will cause teams to lose games. Eventually kids will leave the team. Just ask the cannons about that.

So what if a kid says ouch sometimes? They're twelve. It's probably just a reaction. I'm sure he'll stop eventually or doesn't even intend to say it. Why do you care? Does he break down and cry, disrupt the game? Every time he is touched -- really? If that is the case, I doubt he'd be on the field. Is your kid on his team? If so, you are a nasty SOB. Sounds to me like you have another issue at play here. What the [lacrosse] is wrong with people? Posting video of other people's kids, shaming them for reacting when they're hurt. You're all a bunch of desperate fools. If you have confidence in yourself and your own kid, you don't have to come on here and rip apart another kid.

Kids need to toughen up. Saying 'ouch' won't get the kid a call no matter how bad the slash to the leg, cross check to the back, or blow to the neck/head. These are part of the game unless the kid goes down hurt (or just flops like a soccer player).swa

Not a mom. Not related to these kids being called out. Just tired of the awful parents this sport seems to attract.

Common knowledge that Mark Millon runs around showing videos of kids who have had penalties against his kid or other kids on his team...The guy has pretty much alienated the entire lacrosse community with his stupid antics

Beware of his tournaments....Just sayin...If you have a penalty against his kid your child will be ejected from the tournament...Matter a fact rules state that you can't play defense on his kid....

This is the age classification of big kids versus little kids. Many officials will throw flags on the big guys if their shadow appears on a smaller player. Big kids learn to adjust their play and little guys get tougher in the process. Very rarely will a real injury occur. Hope everyone has a fun and safe summer season.

Obviously these big checks and hits are part of this great game! The illegal ones need to be dealt with immediately on the field and on the sideline from the coaches. Targeting and Intentional hits the player needs to be thrown out of game. These are rare occasions at any Lacrosse game at any level .Older, younger, bigger ,stronger and faster, thats why I played and my children play. Its certainly not to bash children or parents that held back my kids classmates at kindergarden or 1st grade. because it was the right move for their child. or even just folllowing guidelines set by the school system.Or to post videos of 12 years hurting my kids in a tough game. And demanding rules to be change or to get some love on FB.

calling out children on here specifically is just plan gross. everyone sees the video or bad check or hit during these games. Advocate for better safety rules and more experienced refs on the field, easy to do and welcomed by all Commissioners and US Lacrosse .

everyone also can see and knows whom you whacko parents are , the sideline tells all..your friends tell ALL..

hopefully that player has learned that is not a good thing on a lax field. Coaches , teammates and Refs hate it..
