Above poster is an idiot (too many on this site). MLL provides some level of entertainment for the fans of the game and an opportunity for the most talented college players to extend their careers. Yes, the pay isn't huge, but most play for the love of it. The original writer of the post prob makes $50k per year and his son has gotten passed over in the recruiting process. Why so bitter?

More like a realist. Actually played D1 in the late 80's early 90's. Not bitter, just entertained by the parents going nuts over recruiting, middle school studs who have not hit puberty, and rich white people. BTW passed 50k about 20 years ago. Enjoy.

I enjoy the MLL as well. I really like seeing the college names that made headlines play pro. So sorry for having interest different from yours.

Quit being a hater.

The MD kids who made the U19 squad, what clubs did they play for and what clubs is most represented?

Conrad, Roesner and Costabile played for Looneys. Kelly FCA of course. Pezzulla Breakers. Not sure about the G-town prep kid.

For 2020, Hawks sure does look good. FCA has been struggling - they do not look like their normal team, 91 is not playing as a team and has one kid who rarely passes to open team mates, runs it down and loses the ball more than scoring, Looneys Green is listed as top 3 but only because their line up has been A teams. Looneys Orange looks strong and their games with 91 and Hawks could have gone either way. RoughRiders is also struggling after losing players to other teams.

Agree, Looneys Orange will be back to their full strength in spring, RR may consider moving down, 91 played undisciplined full field in the fall with defenders and goalies trying to play offense and team not trying to find their open man. Looneys Green will play A. Should be a great spring with everyone in the same league.

Those U19 kids are the top 1% of the top 1% of players. There is no club breeding or making them into that spot. They would be on this U19 team no matter where they played.

Although not club related, I did hear some people griping about the coaches picking kids that were going to their schools and not necessarily the best kids. You can't make everyone happy.

3 each from Penn, Penn State and Ohio State where the coaches are from. 9 of the 25 seems a bit high but who knows. We'll see in Canada.

Don't forget all the D2, D3, & Club teams out there for kids who just love playing the game.

Quite a few top colleges have quality club lax teams, nothing wrong with playing club. My oldest son played club hockey in college, and the benefits were better than playing D2 or D3 hockey.

Many times you can go to a better academic University cheaper and play on great club teams vs. paying a ton for a D3 school whose academics are not at the same level.

Fca beat Hawks 2020 11-5 this week. Looneys beat 91 10-8. Playoffs start next week. It's going to be a battle.

I stayed to watch the FCA/Hawks game after the Loonies/91 game. FCA dominated from start to finish. Not the same team/players I have seen on FCA throughout the box season. Makes you go hmmm...

No indoor team is the same kids every week. This is the off season sorry but it is. Box is great but you will never have 100% of the kids show up every week.

All who play for FCA are on the team. Some games, you have all defenders and a goalie playing in the field. other games you have a better mix of players

Looneys Green should really not be in the C-ships. Pretty funny that they are and how the amateur match ups throughout the season got them there.

thought the league was 2020, aren't they all amateur at that age? If Crabs were in it a few of them will have working papers and registered for selective service, but most other kids are 14 year olds.

Green has no business being there with their cakewalk schedule. Not mention that Orange never even had to play FCA and got a bye. Ah - the benefits of having your organization run the league.

I predict Looney's FOGO flies up for these games because these games don't matter (says Loonies parent when they lose).

You better hope the FOGO doesn't fly up. But you will be seeing a lot of him when e attends either Calvert Hall of McDonough next year. He will be among the tops next year in MIAA

I hope he does fly up. I also hope that he attends one of those schools next year. He will only make other faceoff players better.

91 MD lost 4 times, failed to beat the big boys. Take it and stop complaining 91 MD. Sounds familiar to when you were breakers. Changing jerseys doesn't always change results

91 MD did not even play Looneys Green so why would they care? RR just beat Green Sunday night as did other teams. Problem is with the schedule and how it was made. Problem always results w Cship when you mix A and AA in the same bracket and all teams do not play one another. You sound like the same crabs parent who has no idea what they are talking about. It is indoor, the kids had fun get over your pettiness.

And you are late for work again, need to get at these chores or you may loose your job. Plus, remember Looney's is spelled this way, not Loonies. Also, Green Turtle and Koopers are also owned by bars. seems like you are not very knowledgeable about youth lacrosse.

I never heard that. Since you seem to know so much why don't you tell everyone what they did to be kicked out of NPYLL. You say cheating, so exactly what did they do. Bet you can't answer that, because for one you don't even know if it is true and you have no idea what you are talking about. On the internet anyone can say anything, to the point of making up things but yet they can't back up their statements. And, fly in players, now you are saying there is more than one, you just keep getting in over your head deeper and deeper.
