What a bunch of clowns on this thread. Everyone knows everything about a team and their coaches who do nothing but keep to themselves and throw nothing in anyone's face. There are other solutions to solve your ED problems rather than trying to get a "rise" out of 12/13 year old lacrosse. Play your own game, build your own team and if you ever have the nerve, contact the Turtles to play a game. Then again it's you parents doing all the whining. I'm sure your kids are quite happy doing their own thing.

" Build your own team " so thats how its done not by contacting players from other teams for a "Tryout". Please the Turtles have been built by scouring the other teams for players out there and selling them on the "Turtle Way ". Does the sell include being berated and cursed at by a coach who appears to have been the last kid icked in the school yard

In all seriousness you have to GET A GRIP. Do me a favor try to explain to any of your level headed peers how and why you rant and rave about YOUTH lacrosse. No one cares, it means nothing, they are kids, just enjoy your childs experience and lose the hate it becomes much more enjoyable. And the next time your about to post just say out loud 5x I am wasting time arguing about YOUTH lacrosee. Hopefully after the fifth time you will realize how dumb it sounds.

You all cry about kids not playing in their own age groups until you asked to get moved up to Varsity at 9 th grade . Then it's OK. Bunch of hypocrites. It's ok when convenient for you. Let the kids play their grade they're in. I doubt some hold their kids back at 5 assuming they will be lacrosse stars.

From the Turltes Website. Maybe the coaching staff should print a copy of this and bring it with them. LOL.

The Coaches and Parents of the Turtles are committed to offering the very best instruction, training, and competitive opportunities to the boys on the team. We adhere to and teach the following principles of US Lacrosse and believe this is the best way to Honor the Game.

•Respect your coaches, Teammates, opponents, officials and the fans.
•Compete with heart, honor, and hustle.
•Honor the traditions of the game and respect the ancestors of the sport.
•Have fun, be passionate, and adhere to the spirit of the game both on and off the field.

Thanks for the revelation but your point is what...not ever team has the same resources and we must make everything equal? Apply the same attention to the state of our economy and gov takeover with IT'S power grab and leave youth lacrosse alone.

They beat some 1 year older B teams by 1 or 2 goals - big deal. You practice all the time since last year and those B teams are new teams and almost never practice. And several of the kids on the 2016 repeaters should be playing on those older B teams anyway. When they can keep it to under a double digit loss to 2015 Orange we'll be impressed. Get over yourself.

I appreciate your response however quoting the earlier question would be beneficial for conversation purposes. Your answer did include a statement, factually incorrect, but a statement. Access to equipment to a point yes but additional coaches are paid for by parent money. His money is his just like yours and mine is ours. Stay cool out there this weekend if your kid is playing.

thanks for the advice...no need to get bitter. The facts are what they are. 2016 Orange won those games. Did not know the relevance of final scores dictates quality of wins. But I am sure your opinion is worth something, if to no one else but yourself.
Have fun this week-end stay cool !!

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. How dare any Express parents criticize the behavior of any other coaches or parents until they examine the behavior of the 2017 team at the fl$ tournament last Sunday!! Not only were the parents inebriated from too many alcoholic beverages but they were actively taunting and bereating opposing players directly. They were also screaming to take out players "at the knees". What a terrible sportsmanship example and just decency. Do they really destroy the knees of any 12 or 13 year old boy? It was so bad the boys on Express were apologizing to the opposition on the field.

Interesting that 2016 Orange is not playing in JV B at the Maverik tourney this weekend. Lets see what you have to say when the Turtles beat 2016 Orange at the Maverik tournament this weekend? Nice that you are looking ahead at JV B&C but you better be watching what's coming up behind you - you might not like what you see.

Now, now....some things you are saying are true, and parents should reconsider their actions on sidelines and between games.

Other things you mention are not true...

You know the difference, don't embellish

Yes, I was there

This sounds so crazy - parents at the 2014 level and above hardly say a peep to the refs let alone to players from opposing teams other than "nice game". This must be the year of the apocolypse for everybody to regress to the lowest level of human nature. This used to be a game just for the privileged of society. But at least they respected the game's tradition and the courage of every player to step on the field. Now that its been opened up to every tom, [lacrosse] and harry its come to this. Is this better than it used to be? Hardly. What a shame that this game is being over-run and ruined by houligans who never played.

Not embellishing at all. In fact my comments are quite reserved compared to the reality of the situation. Which part of my post do you think is embellishment exactly?

Turtles would win that in a rout - lets hope we see that matchup.

Starting attack of turltls is better than 2016 starters but its the rest of the field I'm not so sure about.

Yes, we will see just like the last two times these two teams played. The best will be watching the antics of the three Turtle coaches when the Orange start to run away with it. Tough to teach your kids to be good losers when you can't control yourself in defeat. Good luck to all the boys.

you must have something better to do, like coach your club team, rather trying to stir the pot here.

Lets see how JD will embarrass himself this weekend in front of his express peers. Should be interesting when they start knocking around his precious turtles.

So why isn't 2016 Orange playing up at Maverik? Even though they've beaten some weak B and C JV teams was it not nearly as comfortable as they thought it might be? A little too rough? Placement says everything.

Enough already! Turtles are 2017 and this thread is 2016. Stick to it! Until the Turtles start winning the 2016 summer brackets then you can mention it. Until then they are just like every other 2017 who try and play up and play well but don't get over the top. So go back to your 2017 thread!

Pretty sure you are not talking to a Turtle parent about this. I think both sets of parents know there is no animosity between either teams. I know there is none from the Turtle side.

JD will complain to the refs over and over cause bigger stronger kids will be running them over. I believe 9th Grade in high school rules?? They are a VERY skilled team, but not sure they can take on the Size factor.

nobody is knocking that team around. btw how about asking the kids who play on the barracudas and they will tell you that they have alot of friends on the turtles and likewise with the turtle kids. these kids have been playing together since like second or third grade so for an adult to suggest that crap is stupid. and the parents on both sides respect each other too much so everyone should know that its an outsider writing this garbage. probably 91 or a disgruntled parent upset that his kid isnt on one of these elite teams.

Why would barracuda parents "respect" (which is a very overused term by barracudas players that talk as much trash as anybody) turtle parents who berate opposing players from the sidelines? By "respecting" that type of behavior it says a lot about the character of the Cubas. Self important and pretentious.
