Classless. And please don't compare them to the Turtles. Turtles when they were U13 would have beaten Crush by at least 7 goals.

I agree. I have an older son too , where I've seen the Turtles play and IMHO Turtles would win that game easily. I also have a 2020 and agree it is a weak year .

That is a rediculus thing to say. I have an older son as well and have watched the Turtles plenty. They were very small at this age, smaller than Crush. Many of those boys are still small 5'6" and have been recruited to schools such as Cornell. Both teams have some real stand out players but Crush I believe may have the edge . Turtles did not havery as strong a record of quality wins. It is a silly thing to try to predict who would win. We can agree both teams are special.

You are an idiot. Turtles overall were much bigger, more skilled, more athletic and definitely had greater depth. They would beat Crush in a rout at the same age.

Why, because you said so? They tried to play up at this age (9th) and lost early on at US lax u15. They still have several small players, fact! Not saying they are not a very skilled bunch but no more so than Crush. Do you have game stats to back up your claims? Were Turtles beating teams at same margin? Just not sure what you're basing your statement on. Oh, and Turtles stuggled to win tournaments last summer, maybe a sign of what's to come of Crush in a few years? Both teams have enjoyed a run as "top team in country " but all good things eventually come to an end.

I can't defend the coaches behavior and how he things not playing his bench at 13 years old is "teaching life lessons" but in terms of 2020 year being weak, I'm not buying it. Crush beats most 2019 teams. Not a few, most top level 2019 teams lose to crush. There are also other top 2020 teams that play up and win which should never happen.

Turtles had more holdbacks - they were an innovator with the older kids playing against younger kids thing.

Turtles beat several excellent 2016 teams along the way. Crush played a very good - but not great - Sweetlax 2019 team and lost convincingly.

You Crush lovers who don't agree obviously never saw the Turtles play back then.

Keep crowing about your meaningless Denver championship. Nobody cares who wins MS tournaments.

Turtles were beat cleanly by express 2016 and FCA. Just a couple I saw. What "Excellent "2016 teams did they beat? They are not even able to beat the top teams in their age group anymore.

Crabs 2020 and Looney's 2020 will beat Crush this summer. No doubt. There will be others. Lack of size and athleticism will be obvious in the summer as there is a big change from 7th to 8th.

Don't you mean there's a big change with all the holdbacks on those teams?

As for the crush kids not being athletes- where does that come from? Half those kids play another high level sport besides lax. Starters on school or rec teams and/or team members of travel baseball, basketball, hockey, and football. Making things up doesn't make it true. Please stop the nonsense. Ignorance is a bad trait to flaunt publicly.

Ignorance and jealousy. Was your son cut? This is definitely one thing Crush has in common with Turtles. Haters and nay sayers.

The Turtles were a great team. This Crush team is just a good one built around 3-6 players. They will get surpassed pretty soon.

And breakers beat FCA twice...and FCA has never beat Crabs but that was not the discussion. Looneys and Crabs will not beat Crush this year. If they even come close it is only due to the large number of holdbacks involved especially on Crabs 2020. Play with Denver qualifiers only and most AA 2020s would beat Crabs and Looneys.

Did you forget they played 5/6 of their 2019 kids for that game? If these kids are now 2020- then we will see competitive games, but really- a 1 goal diff in OT playing your 2019 kids? That's the best they could do? The real 2020 Crabs were at Denver on ESPN.

Don't forget that those 2019's were most likely already 2018 holdbacks... MD, PA and Mass teams don't get better. They just get older and older. My son is College sophomore at age 19. In MD, PA or Mass he'd be a HS Senior or Junior. His sophomore roommate just turned 21, I kid you not!

I was there for looneys loss. If 91 didn't do all their tricks shots it would have been 10-1 at half

Those were kids that already reclassed. They were just too old for Denver. But they are 2020s. Whether you like it or not, they lost. I know it is super hard for some to swallow, but it happened. I also think Looney's are close too. Not sure why some people on LI are so defensive about it, I would think they would like right games it will only make everyone better

That's a pretty funny statement. What does that mean? If they didn't play their game? Give me a break- Looneys couldn't beat them so 91 must have used their tricks? News flash... Shooting behind the back is not considered a trick. Passing behind the back is not considered a trick. It's a part of the game and a more advanced skill set that these kids mastered early on. They did not trick the Looneys to steal the game, the Looneys just didn't know when to expect certain moves leaving them at a disadvantage. That said, Looneys- crabs etc are good teams but the constant bashing and trying to reason away why 91 beat you as if they are playing unfairly is ridiculous.

Keep on saying that to yourself Crabs dad. Crush proved that they were the best last year by dominating the Crabs on TV and they got even better this year. The Looneys had tons of holdbacks and doubleholdbacks on that team. Crush will continue to dominate as they always have.

Those kids had not officially reclassed yet -they had just finished 8th grade at a private school while the remainder of kids in Maryland were still attending school. They had not started 8th or 9th grade in the fall yet, were still on the rosters for 2019 Crabs And played with the 2019 for other tourneys the weeks after beach lax. Stop kidding yourself - everyone knows how Crabs operates and frankly the rest of the 2020s don't consider you a valid team due to your ways. Happy to play you but most have no respect for any of your wins. You lost bad when you played with an age appropriate team.

Looneys doesn't have tons of hold backs or any double hold backs. 3 kids with summer 01 bdays. Your team is fantastic and clearly the best 2020. There's no reason to make things up just because there was a close game

Force was Breakers AA and Platinum was Breakers A. Same coaches and core of players. Breakers AA was very good but maybe a notch below Crabs, Looneys, FCA. Although they beat FCA for Koopers league championship. Breakers A was very good at that level. As T91 they are touting themselves as AA. Would assume both teams added some good players but it seems all teams have. Should be fun to watch these kids play each other in MD and then play the best from NY, PA and elsewhere. Hopefully parents and coaches keep all in perspective.

force is their better team. May the force be with them because they are going to need it!
