Is that really the case? They don't make some of the parents feel like that do they?

I've nver been asked. Parents were offered an opportunity to be a Sponsor, if and ONLY if they wanted. Yes $2300 and never a penny more. No $79 torn. fee ala 91. no $500 OB league fee/summer schedule ala Express.
Igloo has been open and transparent from day one. And Im glad my kid is a part of the experience

I personally like the ala carte method.. I would hate paying for events that my kids could not attend due to other priorities. To each his own..

How many refused to sponsor? Do you feel compelled to give money?

Yes Igloo costs $2300 for the year. The Igloo season goes from September through July; one month off - August. You receive fall practices, winter practices, spring practices, and summer practices, totaling around 50 practices. You receive 2 fall tournaments , 1 spring tournament, and 4 summer tournaments. You play in 2 winter leagues and 1 spring league. You receive brand new gear every year, helmet, gloves, 2 uniforms, 6 socks, sweat shirt ,sweat pants, shooting shirts, team bag, and extra gear throughout the year. The team does team events and parties. Coaches bring specialist coaches in on occasion to work with the boys. And the latest event was a giant BBQ with the Igloo "family" at the quarterfinals, to include tickets, the boys shaking hands with the ND and MD players and playing on the field at halftime. All expenses paid by the owner of the organization. The coaching is excellent; about the nicest most approachable coaches I have ever seen. Igloo is without a doubt the best run organization I have ever been a part of, and I have been around travel lacrosse a number of years, both boys and girls. Never have I received as much as I do with Igloo for one price of $2300. Best organization I have ever been a part of. Class act!

Has any of the 2022 Igloo coaches ever played lacrosse? If so where and for how long?

Answer is yes. That said, why do you care? Jealous? I know you aren't a smash parent b/c they don't care, so must be on an inferior team. Keep working on your sons game, he is 10, it's too early to tell. Sorry he didn't make it this year, but with some practice maybe next year.

I hear ya. But why haven't they expanded beyond the current teams. It would seem that they would get a lot of interest.

I take it that "yes" means they have played. So where have they played and for how long have they played?

They played at cantiague for 15 minute quarters and the play int their backyard an hour a day. Go away, join a team because the coach played D1, I am sure that will make you happy.

My son's team never played your 2022 Igloo team but did play the Jester's 2020 team and beat them. Igloo 2022 could not beat the younger 2021 Jester team and my son's team beat the older Jesters 6th grade team. My son plays up. Does yours? Get over yourself you make it sound like your son's team is Igloo 2021. TA said my son should be playing down with kids his own age not up. Since I don't see TA that often I figured I would find out here about the coaching because someone told me I should ask that question. That is why I asked. Nothing mean about it. Thanks for your help to a simple question. I will ask TA next time I see him and get a full true answer.

But the head Jester said that his "new" 2020 team was an A team this year??

I get it now. Your son is 2022 and plays up and his team beat 2020 jesters so you have deduced that your son is 2022 igloo material b/c 2022 igloo didn't beat jesters 2021. To make this story even more far fetched you are also suggesting that the director of igloo suggested you go on BOTC to ask about the coaches of igloo 2022. Makes a ton of sense. Here is my guess, your son is on 2021 jesters, you are the angry poster from weeks ago that can't get over that igloo 2023 played them to a 2 goal game and you got beat by smash so you are trying to poke holes in 2022 igloo. Good luck next year, you seem like a parent that no team would want on their sidelines...a liar/troublemaker

That's all great but understand that owner is not paying for all. You are!

Pretty sure no team got more than 3-4 games, I assume there will be a ton of refunds. I was a fan of this league but with all the spring tournaments, I think this league is done.
