Who quits a job for the chance for his son to make igloo? What if his kid does not make Igloo? FUNNY this is just more proof Igloo teams are set before tryouts. I feel bad for that kid who is rated last on Igloo's depth chart at the position of the son of the new coach.

Igloo has solid coaching and is very competitive.

Express also has good coaching, and I would argue a better "lax culture" then the two aforementioned, supporting their teams.

Jesters have made some nice strides competitively, but I don't think they are in the same league as 91, Igloo & Express. Not talking wins & losses, just complete club instruction & experience.

ICON, while a start-up, and not as competitive, has great coaches and in my opinion, it's only a matter of time before this club rises up the ranks.

Good luck to your son. Keep him smiling, that's the most important thing to remember.

I can only speak for my experience. My son was on Jesters Black and had great experience. Had well over 20 practices. Played in 9 tournaments and coould not have had better coaching. We particpated in great winter training and shooting clincs. (additional cost). I am not sure how someone can comment on "lax culture" of 5 different clubs they did not participate in, but I can tell you that I know for a fact that kids from igloo and Express want to come here next year. I absolutely agree that it is about the individual coaches, players and families. Not strictly wins and loses.

Isn't the head coach leaving for Igloo?
