Between the equiptment, uniforms, apparel, practices winter/spring/summer, agility and speciality training, tournaments... the price is very reasonable and transparent.
This level of time and financial committment is not for everyone. Not because maybe they can't afford - but they may not want to allocate their time and/or funds.
