Is this the 2022 thread? Which team is better? fl$ should have grabbed them? Come on, grow up!It doesn't matter at this age as long as you are in recruiting tournaments. Bragging rights as to which team is better is for dumb parents who are concerned with the team magnet on the back of their car. If your son is a defensemen, you'd rather have those attack on an opponents team so that you/coaches can see how they rate against the best.

You're all fooling yourselves. The coaches are way more interested in how the kid plays in individual events, with no support from the team or "system". If you notice, almost every school now has their own prospect camp. They want to see what the kids can do on their own. The tournaments are becoming less and less important. Individual events will highlight a players lax IQ and specific talents and expose what's missing. For example, can an attack just finish? Or can he dodge, feed, ride, go rt and lft, can he go from up top? With no game plan or plays, will the player attempt all these things?
This lack of "system" as well as no game plan or plays typically results in the ball in the stick way too long and very tough to watch, if anyone was at Nassau/Suffolk this was happening on just about every possession for both sides, "don't pass the ball as you will never get it back" was a great quote from one parent that day.
That maybe so at that event. However, the reason why every D1 coach in the country is on the side lines at Showtime, Philly Showcase and Jake Reed is to see the kids play without their team...
