Not OP. But have been around and advised by enough GC patents who "redshirt" their kindergartener. They do one year in a private school and one in public. No big deal. They just angle so their kid is 6yo going into K. But its more common then you think.
Man, if that's true then I've been living under a rock. Must be in certain circles only. We raised our kid age appropriate and he's doing really well.
Come to think of it; GC prob needs to do this. Ever seen how small the FB team is?
