Plenty of holdbacks in every age group in GC. Usually kids born in the summer/early fall ... but the decision was made at the start of the school process, not in the middle. Parents decide to start those kids in the next kindergarten grade, to give them an athletic and academic advantage (or, from their perspective, to make sure they are not academically or athletically "disadvantaged" by being at the end of the grade age range).
Those kids have a real advantage. Unfair, but real.
Really? I call BS. You're just trying to kick up a sh*t storm. You have zero substantiaon for that claim. "Plenty"??? Sure. Go back to the pipe. Must be from manhasset or a GC parent whose kid hasn't, doesn't, and won't ever start as he thinks the others must have some "advantage" over his D-1 hopeful 4th grader.
