It will be interesting to watch the "alternate list" to see who didn't make first tryouts or second tryout get added!!! With 15 kids on the list - they remain short of a full team. If they create a second team, why would it include players that didn't tryout? I think this whole process is fishy and stinks of collusion.


HUH? Alternate means "to take the place of", in other words, if a selected player opts out due to conflict or injury, an "Alternate" will be chosen to take their place not an "Alternate" team.


I past years they have created a second team. So where would they pick from the alternate list. So what the poster is saying is. How can someone who made the last game not be one of the alternates, but a person who was sent home is mysteriously made an alternate when they weren't good enough to make the last game.


In past years they selected 2 teams from the beginning, they decided to go a different route this year to mimic what they tested in Florida the past few years which is to have a Best of the [region] tournament.


How can they compare LI to Florida? How did our LI South team do last year?
