A great player Playing on a lower level team will and does rise above. He will become a leader And better player.


Yep, in order to become better you should play with weaker players. That is how all kids who are trying to reach the highest level of their sport do it. Olympic hopefuls, kids trying to make it to the NBA, NFL, NHL and Major League Baseball should play with less skilled players in order to improve their own skills. I guess the student who would like to attend Harvard or MIT should take remedial courses.




Wasn't the post about a stinky school team? Where you're at a school with a bad team? Especially public, where you may not have the luxury to send your child to private or catholic? So what? Sounds like you're a crybaby. Tell your son to work with what he's got. Then go play travel and show the colleges why they should want you!!
