U can start doing weight training as early as 9 yrs old. If it's done right with precision form it will help your kids tremendously. American board of pediatrics states it's a myth of weight training stunting growth. They say it helps strengthening bones and truly helps their minds too. It also helps prevent injury. My son is 12 and has been doing it for 3 yrs on and off and it has helped his acceleration and he is strong for his size.
