The 2016 committed players represent approximately 22 States plus the District of Columbia and Canada.

I do not think that any of the known 2017 commits are from Long Island.

The Sport is growing and College Coaches are looking near and far in order to fill their "spots".

If someone tells you that college coaches are not looking at 9th graders you run the other way.

If someone tells you to play only with your town you should run the other way.

Good luck to all

Actually 2 of 11 known/public 2017 commits are from LI and my guess is there are probably others who have committed from LI that are not public yet.

Congrats to all the early commits. No doubt Long Island will have their fair share of D1 spots. I suspect that the higest level programs (academically and lax wise) will not move forward until spring/ summer because 1)they can and 2) because they need to collect more grades as they have more strict guidelines from their respective admissions. I am certain that many first commits from these institutions will be from LI.
