I recently spoke to a D1 coach from a lax superpower at a showcase this past weekend. He looked me in the eye and told me "we sincerely hope the rules for recruitment change, we dont like recruiting kids at such a young age but we are forced to to keep up with the other programs. There is no realistic way to tell what a kid is going to be when he is a freshman in high school" He also imparted to me that a large majority of the other D1 programs feel the same way. I think change is coming and I for one cant wait. Too much nonsense going on.
