What does it mean to be in 9th grade? If you are a young 9th grader who turns 14 in November, you could have been placed in 8th grade, and the other way around. It is about age not grade, if all the players on the field are the same age what difference does the grade make except when they graduate. There are kids on 2018 teams that are older then kids on 2017 teams.
