I actually think previous knowledge of player strength and weakness provides an improved evaluation process.

If this was not the case, colleges would not need to recruit they could simply tell interested HS school seniors to show up one weekend for a tryout and pick a recruit list from their own blind tryout


Actually this year they limited it to 150 for 2018,2019,and 2020. Lets see if they actually do this. Just wish tryout was fair and not predetermined. It seems too often that players that play for the coaches doing the evaluations make it. There were a bunch last year.
