Son is now a senior and I have a younger guy. Not even close. From MS to HS, big kids were still big, fast kids still fast, slow kids still slow. Were there changes, and some kids different? Sure. Biggest game changer, proper weight training. Speed comes from strength, not cones. Shutes and ladders will not get your son more agile or faster if his body does not have the muscle mass. Look at most sprinters and running backs. Very muscular. Skinny kids can also get very solid. Just my experience.
