Most of this is completely false - especially the change from 9/1 to May 1 so 1 player could play in the World Series. Please hat player played w the graduating class of 2022, didn’t play w the 2021’s.

For LI we def have some pre 9/1 bday’s but is just very small portion and the few that are known play 2027. Most of the 2009 birthdays are late November and December w the large majority being 2010’s.

holdbacks are part of the sport, we get it. But stop pretending it’s not a difference maker especially in the early stages of puberty.

As mentioned earlier LI has done very well at the one birth year tournament that teams can compete in, while the big name clubs from the Maryland area don’t even attempt to play.
