Just because they are competing doesn’t mean it’s the same team. A perfect example is 2026 Annapolis hawks. They dominated the age group at most tourneys. Then when they had to be age eligible for World Series they didn’t even sniff the finals.

They won the East qualifier and their bracket before losing in the quarters in OT to an all star team from the DMV, but keep being you.

I was complementing how good the team was. Winning the east qualifier means nothing. Losing in the qaurterfinals is not good for a team who had dominated the age group. When they were on age they weren’t the same team. Doesn’t even bother me Maryland kids are older. Can’t be disputed that on age tournaments Long Island wins. That’s why a long island team was won this thing every year

The results say yes. Also the top teams from other regions don’t bother building a team for one tourney. Some have in the past. Crabs went to the first one and got smacked on TV and haven’t been back. Sweet revenge for Crush after losing to the Crabs in Ocean City a month prior. The Crabs teams were obviously different. Look at Legacy they win the 2021 age group with an age built team and the Igloo parents went nuts. My point is…in a system that is grade based to have one carve seems like why?. The NLF summer championship is way more prestigious of a title.
