re: Curious question because it relates to my son: How many 2nd line players, in general, see the field at WSYL or other top tournaments? How many of these 2nd line kids will move to other teams this summer after tryouts? My son is second line on a AA team, but not sure if I should move him.
if the club's smart they get all their kids in but I want my kid playing, on the field. Even if it means he's on a lesser team. Kids do improve a bunch at practice but nothing like they would during games. Ego aside, find a team where he's playing, a contributor. my two cents.
