Busy weekend at Goals, top teams had little competition- who won it all?
Next year should be all club. The high division is awful! Liberty , Towson , Catonsville playing in a jv / 8th grade division. Losing games due to weather with no make up’s. Referees are awful. They don’t know the rules and either stand in one spot or lean against the wall the whole game. Most of the big schools have already pulled out and more will follow. $2200 for that? As for who won , check the website soon as winning team gets their picture posted there. M&D black won the B division and GCS won the A.
I think it should be no club, or at least no club coaches. Make it more about having fun. In regards to the standings, what teams in the B Division missed out on the playoffs due to forfeits/weather? It sure looks like the best 8 made the playoffs.
The last game of the season between SW (5th place team) and Integrity(4th place team). Game was canceled due to weather, no makeup. Not presuming SW wins the game but IF they did they would have made the playoffs over Integrity with the same record and head to head. Just providing an example.
