The college landscape has changed since I went to school big time. Florida and Maryland didn't have near the requirement they used to have, they were closer to party schools. It would have been funny to put them in the same sentence as Lehigh 30+ years ago, not anymore. Both of those schools are serious schools with the ACT and SAT scores to back it up. Don't get to hung up on acceptance rates, the caliber of students vary that apply to certain schools. I am amazed at the Florida numbers, proof that the South is where the young people prefer. The whole SEC is very popular with North East kids, every school having womens lacrosse should not be to far away.
