Express lost to Venom in Final. Totally out played them. Refs were bad. One time 91 caught with 5 poles on field and ref says take one out. That's a penalty. The Referees have been declining for long time, and 91(my lacrosse tourneys have same ones, and they are one hundred percent Homers) 91 Express Then Legacy a VERY distant 3rd
Actually the truth is that 91 had a fast break cancelled by a ref inadvertently blowing his whistle and 91 coaches were penalized for yelling about it. Express outplayed them in 1st half and 91 turned it on in 2nd.
Express had more man up opportunities. The game itself was intense, the 50/50 ground ball scrums were aggressive. Credit should be given to both teams, express for how they bounced back after game one and venom for how they fought back in the second half of game two. We should all hope to see more games like that.
