That stinks. There are enough teams in Nassau for PAL. No need to drive more than 15/20 minutes.
I agree — who thought this was a good idea? They should make the leagues smaller - Western Suffolk, Central, and Eastern. Who wants to travel from Rockville Center to Westhampton for a youth lacrosse game? What is the benefit of a larger league other than for those involved to pat themselves on the back and brag about creating the largest youth lacrosse program in the country? I guarantee cost of participation goes up along with zero benefit to the participants. Thanks guys, super job.
I don’t 100% disagree with you. But they are making some town neutral sites in order to prevent teams from traveling way out in either directions.
