100% this. The issue was that word had gotten out because parents couldn't keep things quiet until after the weekend. Since word was spreading the coaches and SR decided they owed the girls in person communication on why things worked out the way they did. It's pretty surprising that you think a better solution would just be to post the new roster on the M&D website today. Yes girls were upset. But at least they were told why it happened and received feedback from the coaches.
