Not true . Getting a spot on A team either requires knowing someone or being insanely good ( fast , good stickwork ) and better than the girls whose moms and dads are friends with coach . You can get on by being an amazing athlete.
You obviously don't know MG. There's going to be a lot of turnover on the M&D team which is unfortunate for the girls that have been there for a few years but it's just the way things work in high level club sports. She's going to take girls that will both help the team win and that she feels she can develop into a cohesive unit.
