What was the explanation? A scheduling conflict? A conflict with a competing tourney?
As someone pointed out above, you don't need to worry about it if you're not an M&D parent. CR heard the concerns and he addressed them. Things didn't work out like he thought they would. End of story.
Right. Due to his ego he thought he could convince other clubs to drop from G8 and attend the second rate tournament he is making M&D go to this weekend. So like you said, things didn't work out like he thought they would. So he screwed over the 2023 kids because he felt like Steps didn't support his tournaments and he thought he could get other clubs to agree with him. While that is an explanation for why things happened I can't really imagine why anyone would be ok with it.
