All MD teams follow US lacrosse rules 8/31/03 as cut off. Long poles are used as 52 inches we played 91 smash and they had the same long poles. Some MD teams are heading to laxfest this week it should be good competition.
I really like that the Long Island teams are venturing to MD and vice-versa, I think it is great for the sport. My son's team played some good competition in MD. We had no issue with grade vs. U-9, no controversy at all. The games were no more physcial than LI tournament ball and the long pole rules were no different.
