It was the B team. Regulators lost to 91, but games looked closer than would have thought.
Regulators played zone and slowed it down. That is absolutely the strategy so people think they are almost there. Really, they never had a chance. More embarrassing than having their hopes crushed by 91, they tied their third game and almost went home early.
Watching the Shocking Blastards play against a zone is pretty comical. It’s been several years since the Regulators used that against them at Laxfest and the 91 “premier” coaches still have trouble solving it.
So true. Most of us arm chair quarterbacks could have figured out a better scheme than what they ran with no success. Give regulators credit, they aren't very talented but well coached.
