I would think the end game is to keep your son busy, around other kids and playing a great sport. If he wants to get into College his grades should take care of that, no? Lax scholarships are basically pennies. Cold hearted fact

Correct. My nephew played at Lehigh. No scholarship, but lacrosse helped him and his very good GPA and SAT get into a school that requires a very, very good GPA and SAT.
