What’s the scoop on the Looneys to Loyola pipeline with 2023?
Looneys 23 Orange has a lot of Loyola players. That was likely going to be the case even before Coach U decided to take the Looneys job. Depending on how you count "starters", probably all but one of their 'starting' middies and attack are Loyola kids. Defense is a bit more diverse and the FOs are not at Loyola.
Not sure how all those kids did at Loyola tryouts...assuming most are on JV.
No freshman on varsity at LB.
So the Loyola V HC also coaches Looneys 2023 but none made the V?
The Loyola 2023 class along with the BL 2023 class are both loaded and will be formidable over the next few years if they all stick together. The JV team at Loyola is mostly Freshmen across the board so it will be interesting to see them grow together over the next 4 years..
And less than a handful are on age 2023. The epidemic of holdbacks is finally here. There have always been some Prefirst/holdbacks in MIAA, but now it is out of control how many are !
