Nobody can just sign up, you have qualifying tournament in April. If a team qualifies they have the option to go to Denver.
I understand it’s an unbelievable experience, and I will be watching. But you have to the judge if it’s worth it from individual standpoint. Not being a naysayer. But the decision tree is different based on which team your son is on. Honestly, and I know this frustrates people. If my son’s was not in a position to make a deep run at the tourney, as currently constructed, I would ask the club to find age eligible players from the 2024s. I feel if you are willing to make the investment in the trip, the club is obligated to use the rules and put the best team out there. I know what about the kids that get left off or lose playing time. This is an isolated event and has different rules. And my son and family are not going and have no plans to go.
