The A teams don’t miss the better players at the first tryouts. If your son didn’t make the A team, it’s because he needs to improve or hasn’t developed his game as quick as other players. So true. Back a few years ago, I knew a kid that didn’t make either of the Team 91 A or B teams. He ended up on the Express B team. This was during the MS years. Stayed with that B team through HS. Long story short, that kid was the Suffolk County Midi of the Year his senior year and an All American. Not bad for a B team player!
