M&D Black goes 1-2-1 at Great 8. Never thought I’d see that.
It’s not that surprising. M&D was dominant when the girls were in 8th grade and some of them peaked then. Most teams have caught up to them and parity now exists. Check out their full body of work over the past couple of seasons. Not nearly as impressive as middle school yeats.
M&D were never dominate. They used to trade wins with a few of the best teams, last few years they couldn’t even do that. Probably the only team that a a mini stretch of dominance was Skywalkers and that pretty much ended last year. And who is the joker crowning Mass Elite because of results at a showcase? They are good but seriously if you wanted to place them it’s certainly not at the top, 4-6 range maybe.
