What is wrong with college student-athletes earning summer money by training younger lacrosse players? Your assertion that "they don't give a damn" paints everyone with same misguided brush. Honestly, BOTC just does not understand the ax you are grinding here. If their camp is not your cup of tea, place your bets with another organization.
Most camps run by colleges have college athletes working them... in all sports!
