Check your facts before posting absurdities about a team you no nothing about. Unless your kid has payed for the 2026 Hawks and you have insider knowledge more than a current parent of the team would, please STFU and stop being a sore lost parent.

And even if there are Hawks kids who work at the Yacht Club- GOOD FOR THEM! They are balancing a job, school and a team. They are learning the value of working hard in life.

Guaranteed kids are older than 12 on this hawks team... and your fact about working on a yacht club. Lol. What 10/11 year old has a job? Stop cheating and play on age. Put a team in WSYL and the world will believe you. No MD team has done it since the failed Crabs disaster 4 years ago.

Can we put money on it? Additionally, there is no talk of a WSYL appearance for the 2026 Hawks. As others have stated, they are all 10 or 11 years old. There are NO and I repeat NO 12 year olds on that team.

Why wont they play in the WSYL then? They are a highly talented team. I've witnessed them beat my son's team more than once.

Why should they? To spend more money on traveling, which is not needed, so an 11 year old can do what? Get a scholarship to 6th grade? Brag that they went to a money grabbing tournament? They have beaten all of the teams listed for WSYL - which they have played. Let’s not forget, THEY ARE ALL IN 5th grade. THEY ARE ALL STILL 11. You want to see a good organization- the Hawks is it.

The WYSL is for 7th Graders, these kids are two years away from even being eligible to try and qualify.
