The price to pay in the NHSLS is $105 per kid. Public schools could have played in it if they wanted to. Stop complaining.
Public school coaches have to skirt the rules to get a team together for these things. Coaches and assistants are not permitted to coach in any capacity outside of the season which starts March 1. You do have the Northerns, Tides and Hereford Zone teams among others that manage to get organized without any of their coaches being involved, but it isn’t easy.
