Would you also like their SS# and blood type? Creeper.

Typical holdback dad response.

Typical response from a dad who makes excuses for his kids... and probably everything else in life. Toughen up.

A little sensitive there holdback dad. Life outside the bubble of holdbacks can be tough. The on age kid, who plays against the holdback, is plenty tough. You can’t protect your holdback for ever. Maybe he can repeat one more grade.

This whole forum might as well be dedicated to the holdback debate... old news... boring... we understand where people stand on each side. Move on.

Oh wait - there is also the "Guest Player" debate...

Posting ages/birthdates can also have an adverse effect... what happens when you finally see that ‘that kid’ the one everyone talks about and everyone swears is a hold back and driving to the game... is actually on age or at most only a month or two older than on-age... then what do you say to your child, because for years it has been - they are only bigger and better because they are older... but now you may actually have to explain to your kid that some kids are just bigger and better. It is a fact - and is the case with most players that people complain about on this forum.

Next year... maybe not the case, but this year on some of the strongest teams, the kids you think are holdbacks just aren’t. So yes, maybe it would be nice to have the rosters with birthdates posted just to shut some people up.
