I’m not going to recommend any organization, but I’ll give you a little food for thought. You want your son to be on a team where he will get game time. I hate to say starting, but if he doesn’t look like he’s top 4 or 5 at the tryout, move on. The problem with the AA teams is that if your kid is not playing during the tournaments, he won’t get noticed by other organizations that would want him to play. It’s a paradox controlled by politics. My son played for a big name team and didn’t get much play time in tournaments due to coaches son playing his position. The next year, my son starts for a different team (lesser status, but significantly cheaper). He now came on the radar and I now had invites for him to come to their tryouts.
