Last year the competition and teams were good. It's a good practice league to tune up for the full-on travel season. If your intent is to get your team together to work on plays and practice working together as a team, then it's worth it. If your objective is for fierce competition, then let me know where you find that in a spring league here on LI.

Based on the last 2 years the only downside of OBLL is that the league administration does not do the right thing and publish a schedule ahead of time so that players and parents can schedule their other activities and family commitments. We've asked this on this forum several times, but either the main decision maker over at OBLL (aka MC) doesn't care or doesn't care.
